WHO IS HE?

Denim is an iconic cotton fabric for making clothes that grow with you.

Its twill weave is the result of a crossing between the weft and warp threads, creating this slightly diagonal pattern, immediately recognizable.

At Atelier Brunette, the yarns are solution-dyed, giving the denim a subtle and nuanced heathered effect that evolves over time and with washing. Each piece thus becomes unique, reflecting wear and our experiences.

WHY DO WE LOVE IT SO MUCH?

Whether in indigo or stripes , its charm is eternal.

With a cotton-like feel, natural and pleasant on the skin, it survives trends, timeless and inexhaustible, this Denim fabric is an everyday partner to wear every day.

ITS DIFFERENT CHARACTERISTICS

BEFORE SEWING THE INDIGO DENIM

We tested it for you and here are our tips.

Indigo is a color with character: its pigments remain on the surface, which gives it its charm…

but also its tendency to rub off.

Before sewing or wearing it, it's best to take a few precautions:

  1. Soak your new fabric overnight in lukewarm water + a glass of coarse salt.
  2. Then wash it alone at 30°C, delicate cycle.
  3. Allow to air dry.

After 2–3 washes, your denim will settle, gain its beautiful patina and become ready for your greatest adventures.
